MEGAN THEE STALLION

In 2019 Megan Thee Stallion burst into the American hip-hop scene, joining the major league of female rappers. After the EPs „Fever” and "Suga" she released her debut album „Good News" in 2020, and the same year her two tracks went to the top in USA - "Savage" (remix featuring Beyonce) and "WAP", where she joined Cardi B. Last year gave her 3 Grammy Awards and this year she may receive another one for "Thot Shit" from the compilation album "Something for Thee Hotties”. Megan Thee Stallion is playing at Orange Main Stage July 1.

GLASS ANIMALS

Glass Animals released their first album "Zaba" in 2014. They have since notched up over two billion streams, and toured the world to strikingly diverse audiences. "How to Be a Human Being" followed in 2016 and 2020 welcomed „Dreamland”. Glass Animals’ third album landed atop the charts in UK and spawned an international hit with „Heat Waves”. The band is playing Orange Main Stage on June 30.

TOVE LO

From her debut album "Queen of the Clouds" (2014) and the success of „Habits”, through "Lady Wood" (2016), "Blue Lips" (2017) and "Sunshine Kitty" (2019) Tove Lo reached the status of one of the most popular Scandinavian artists of the decade. She also co-wrote the hits of artists like Lorde and Ellie Goulding and fetured on tracks from Martin Garrix, Ava Max, Charlie XCX, Kylie Minogue and Coldplay to name a few. Tove Lo is playing at Tent Stage – June 30.

LITTLE SIMZ
Liitle Simz has undoubtedly had a meteoric few years, coming a long way from her start handing out mixtapes in the school playground to her new album, "Sometimes I Might Be Introvert" - her most cathartic and ambitious record yet, and one of the best UK hip-hop albums in years, which gave her 4 BRIT Awards nominations. Little Simz is playing at Tent Stage June 29.

SKY FERREIRA

Since 2019 and „Downhill Lullaby”, Sky Ferreira’s fans were almost sure, their wait for her new album „Masochism” is nearly over. This year their patience will finally be awarded. Since her 2012 EP „Ghost” with the track „Everything is Embarrasing”, and the debut album „Night Time, My Time”  (2013) Ferreira is considered an inspiring talent by other musicians, directors, as well as fashion designers. We can’t wait to see her live at Open’er 2022 – Alter Stage, July 1.

SAMPA THE GREAT
Born in Zambia, raised in Botswana, and now based in Melbourne, Sampa The Great's upbringing continues to bear an influence on her music, which combines gospel and chants, neo-soul and hip-hop, intertwined with her clearly-defined, no-holds-barred political outlook. After “The Great Mixtape” (2015), "Birds and the BEE9" (2017) and her EP "HERoes Act 2” (2017) in 2019 we received her debut album „The Return”. Sampa The Great is playing Alter Stage on June 29.

KENNYHOOPLA

KennyHoopla is one of the most promising rising talents in contemporary American alternative. In 2020 he released the EP "How will I rest in peace if I'm buried by a highway?" and since then received much praise from outlets like  Consequence of Sound and NME. Last year saw the release of "Survivors Guilt: The Mixtape", with the tracks "Estella//" and "Hollywood Sucks", where Kenny joined forces with Blink 182’s Travis Barker. KennyHoopla is performing at Alter Stage, June 29.

YOLA
In 2020 Yola received 4 Grammy Awards nominations  (two more pending this year), but has been working for her status for over a decade. The artist began her journey with the band Phantom Limb, and through the years featured in tracks by e.g. Massive Attack and The Chemical Brothers. After „Orphan Offering” EP (2016) we waited 3 years for her debut solo album „Walk Through Fire”, produced by Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys. Yola is playing at Alter Stage, July 2.
