MASSIVE ATTACK Massive Attack is a legend three and a half decades in the making, whose global popularity comes with engagement in important socio-political issues. Massive Attack essentially pioneered trip-hop, fusing a variety of genres along the way. They achieved their iconic status step by step, with a series of absolutely groundbreaking albums – from their debut "Blue Lines" (1991), through "Protection" (1994) and the outstanding "Mezzanine" (1998), the excellent "100th Window" (2003) to "Heligoland" (2010). In recent years, we have received two more EPs: "Ritual Spirit" (2016) and "Eutopia" (2020). And on July 2, we'll see them on Orange Main Stage!

JPEGMAFIA JPEGMAFIA spent most of his childhood in Brooklyn, NY before relocating in his mid-teens to deep southern Alabama & dealing with racism head on. After graduating high school, JPEG joined the United States military, deploying to different parts of the world, before becoming a participant in the War in Iraq. These circumstances added new elements to his producing and rapping repertoire, which he takes on alone writing, recording, producing, mixing & mastering all of his own music. JPEGMAFIA’s sound is dark but not without a humor that makes things even more uncomfortable. See him live at Alter Stage, July 5.
