OPEN'ER

Counting down the days to Open’er 2024! Joining the line-up are Gunna, Kim Gordon, Tinashe, Amaarae, Tom Morello, and Ashnikko. Already announced artists include Foo Fighters, Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, 21 Savage, Måneskin, Sam Smith, Skrillex, Michael Kiwanuka, Loyle Carner and many more.

GUNNA
Since quietly paving a lane out of Atlanta, Gunna has consistently altered the sound, structure, and very shape of hip-hop, accelerating its future in the process. He has reeled in billions of streams, and garnered four GRAMMY® Award nominations. He notched two consecutive #1 debuts on the Billboard 200 with „Wunna” (2020) and „DS4Ever” (2022). The latter yielded the platinum-certified internet-breaking “Pushin P” (feat. Young Thug) with Future. His rarity and artistry separates him from the rest which allows him to ascend musically. He only maintained this momentum in 2023 with the release of his latest album „A Gift & a Curse". The album, which features fan favorite, breakout single “fukumean" serves as Gunna’s fourth consecutive Top 3 debut on the Billboard 200. With more music and major moves on the horizon, Gunna will continue to change the culture forever. Don’t miss him live at Orange Main Stage, July 3!

KIM GORDON
With a career spanning over four decades, Kim Gordon is one of the most prolific and visionary artists today. A co-founder of the legendary Sonic Youth, she has performed all over the world, collaborating with many of music’s most exciting figures. In January Kim Gordon has released "I'm a Man", the latest preview track from her second solo album "The Collective", which will be released March 8th. The album follows her 2019 full-length debut "No Home Record" and continues her collaboration with producer Justin Raisen (Lil Yachty, John Cale, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Charli XCX, Yves Tumor), with additional production from Anthony Paul Lopez. The album advances their joint world building, with Raisin's damaged, blown out dub and trap constructions playing the foil to Gordon's intuitive word collages and hooky mantras, which conjure communication, commercial sublimation and sensory overload. Kim Gordon will perform at Alter Stage, July 3.

TINASHE
Tinashe is one of music’s most compelling artists, fusing innovative sounds from R&B, pop and hip-hop that has generated a global cross-genre fanbase of over nine million social media followers. Tinashe has headlined two world tours and accrued almost 3 billion global streams all time, with over 1.8 bill global track downloads all time. Her first album, Aquarius, came out in 2014 and debuted in the top 20 on the Billboard 200. She has since released four more studio albums, as well as several mixtapes and numerous hit singles. Tinashe’s list of collaborators is extensive, including Britney Spears, A$AP Rocky, Usher, Charli XCX, Chance the Rapper, Jennifer Lopez, Travis Scott, Dev Hynes, and Calvin Harris. See her perform on July 4!

AMAARAE
With the intention of creating a uniquely global yet distinctly pop project, Amaarae turned to her own playlist of her all-time favourite seminal pop songs for the blueprint. Whether that’s Missy Elliott, Janet Jackson, Nelly Furtado, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Rihanna, Ciara, Whitney Houston or Sinead O’Connor, „the coolest thing about them is how experimental they are", she raves of the pop culture giants. Now the Ghanaian-American artist wants to redefine pop her way - for a new generation. Her seocond album "Fountain Baby" became a top-rated album of 2023, earning universal praise, including Best New Music from Pitchfork, who named it "one of the best pop albums of the year". Don’t miss her live at Open’er 2024 – Alter Stage, July 3.

TOM MORELLO
Tom Morello is living proof of the transformative power of rock’n’roll. Known for his innovative guitar solos and thunderous chords, Morello is a groundbreaking artist whether in his solo career or as an original member of the rock bands Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, two acts responsible for multiple Grammy Awards and a combined 30 million albums sold worldwide. His signature guitar could also be heard in supergroups Prophets of Rage, and Street Sweeper Social Club, as well as other projects. His trademark style -- elastic slapping, atmospheric distortion, and effects that resembled turntable scratching -- was a crucial component of Rage Against the Machine's rap-metal sonic attack in the late '90s, helping launch Morello and the band to Grammy-winning, multi-platinum success and leading to his recognition by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the “100 Greatest Guitar Players of All-Time (#26). Tom Morello is playing at Alter Stage, July 3.

ASHNIKKO

Ashnikko’s songs are like portals. You’re instantly transported to a hyper, horny, whimsical universe where emotions are dramatised, gender stereotypes are disrupted, and revenge reigns supreme. From the demonic brat rap of early singles like “Halloweenie” and “STUPID (ft. Yung Baby Tate)” to the lurid alt-pop of viral hits “Daisy” and “Slumber Party (ft. Princess Nokia)”, an ever-evolving sound is anchored by a cheeky humour and subversive personality that couldn’t belong to anyone else. While DEMIDEVIL showcased a more head-on approach, directly tackling themes of sexual revolution and revenge, her debut album WEEDKILLER is more allegorical, steering towards liberation and persevering through the dark to reach the inevitable light. Ashnikko will perform at Tent Stage, July 3.
