Ezra Collective

After the release of their debut album "You Can't Steal My Joy" in 2019, Ezra Collective were a speeding jazz machine, built over years of hard work on a huge talent. As Femi Koleoso, the band's drummer and leader, admits, the onset of the pandemic was like "pressing the big pause button". Last year we received their second album "Where I'm Meant To Be", which was created from the need to celebrate life and emphasize the collective nature. The latter element took the form of musical "conversations" between individual instruments on the album - a natural effect of their many years of experience in stage improvisation. The release also featured great guests such as Sampa The Great, Kojey Radical, Emeli Sandé and Nao. Alter Stage June 29!
