CAROLINE POLACHEK Caroline Polachek is a singularity. One of music’s most continually inventive pop auteurs, an immediately recognizable voice, and a lifelong headphone listener, who writes songs that fill stadiums. February 14 saw the release of „Desire, I Want To Turn Into You” - her latest album, which gathered raving reviews. Pitchfork named it Best new Music, calling it „a passionate, richly melodic odyssey into the darkest corners of love”. We are extremely happy to welcome her at Open’er 2023 – Tent Stage, June 30! |

PAOLO NUTINI A recap of everything Paolo has achieved to date reiterates his status as one of British music’s biggest success stories. Three of his albums, „Sunny Side Up” (2009), „Caustic Love” (2014), and the latest „Last Night In The Bittersweet” (2022), have hit #1 on the UK Album Charts, as he amassed 8 million global album sales and 1.5 billion global streams. Marking his return to stage after an 8-year hiatus, „Last Night In The Bittersweet” is Nutini at his best, mastering his own artistic language. As put by Rolling Stone, the record „overwhelmingly fizzes with the energy of a man who is happy to be back at the day job once more”. Can’t wait to see him live at Open’er 2023 - June 28, Tent Stage. |

YOUNG FATHERS A truly enigmatic band with a fabulously hard to define sound. Their recorded music can be dark, dense and the lyrics ambiguous, but when you watch them live, that kinetic energy is unmistakable, apparent and highly addictive. Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole and G. Hastings met as kids and set their bodies against the tide. Under disparate influences they began to create the unique sound of their early mixtapes, the Mercury Prize winning album „Dead” (2014), „White Men Are Black Men Too” (2015), and „Cocoa Sugar” (2018). Their latest album „Heavy Heavy” (2023) nails together a collage of influences, ideas, ages and scenes, all bound together with unrestrained energy, passion and soul. Young Fathers at Alter Stage, July 1. |

WARHAUS It has been over half a decade since Warhaus, the brainchild of Maarten Devoldere (Balthazar), conquered our musical hearts with the double victory of „We Fucked a Flame into Being” (2016) and „Warhaus” (2017). The songs of last year’s „Ha Ha Heartbreak” came gushing out of him as a result of a recently broken heart. Three weeks of solitude in the sunny Sicily became an escape from sorrow, and helped create the most personal and truthful Warhaus album to date - one in which he navigates the different stages of mourning and grief: starting with denial, passing through resistance, to finally end with a slice of acceptance. See Warhaus live at Alter Stage – July 1! |
