Behind tall 800 years old wall, in the oldest enclosed nunnery in Poland – Benedictins nunnery in Staniątki not far from Kraków, 12 nuns lead their lives - average age – 70 years. Despite their age and the world behind the wall that changes in such fast pace, they try to adjust their lives to the rule invented over 10 centuries ago – “ORA et LABORA”. Our characters – nun Anuncjata and Benedykta (who have been in the nunnery for 40 years) in a charming way invite us to the world behind the wall, they tell their story and their life decisions. They show us the nunnery world with its all true colours, often touching and funny at the same time. It’s a loud film about silence.
