THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS
Since the mid-90s, The Chemical Brothers (Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons) have shaped electronic music around their own vision. As DJs at underground parties, their selections combined heart and head, creating an irresistible barrage of glorious sound to get properly lost in. As their own records charted and their full live show grew, the British duo built an entire world around their music: a psychedelic rabbit hole of jaw-dropping films and pummelling, euphoric sound, with the power to make an audience levitate. It’s no coincidence that recent gigs earned the praise that “there is no greater live dance act in the world right now” (NME).
The Chemical Brothers’ back catalogue is filled with generation-crossing anthems, including ‘Galvanize’, ‘Block Rockin’ Beats’, ‘Got to Keep On’, ‘Wide Open’ and ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’. Their music has earned them multiple Grammy and BRIT Awards and more than 21 million physical record sales worldwide (including 6 UK #1 albums) and billions of streams. And it just keeps on playing: in 2026, their track ‘Go’ became a huge international hit, ten years after its initial release.
In 2027, exactly 25 years after headlining the first ever edition of Open'er, The Chemical Brothers return to the festival to close Orange Main Stage on July 1 with a mind-blowing show. Earth-shaking, ground-breaking, life-changing - call them what you want. Just make sure you’re down the front and ready to dive down that rabbit hole.

ELLIE GOULDING
Ellie Goulding’s career is testament to a musical versatility matched by a formidable vocal that could only ever be hers. From her multi-million-selling debut „Lights” (2010) to this year’s sixth album „I Know Too Much”, through collaborations with Calvin Harris, Diplo, Skrillex, and recently even Muse, as well as having her songs widely sampled by artists including Drake, JAY-Z, Future & Metro Boomin - Ellie sits among the most successful UK artists of the 21st century. A multi-BRIT Award-winning, Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated icon, with over 55 billion global streams, and more than 44 million albums sold, Goulding is one of the top five most-streamed British female artists in the world. She also holds the UK record for the most UK Singles Chart entries for any British female solo artist in history. "Starry Eyed", "Lights", "Burn", "Love Me Like You Do", "Close To Me" - the list of hits that cemented her status as one of pop’s most enduring and influential voices, goes on and on. On July 3, at Orange Main Stage, we'll be ready for all of them!

5 SECONDS OF SUMMER
Formed in Sydney, Australia in 2011, 5 Seconds of Summer have grown from local high school friends into one of the biggest bands of the 21st century. Across 14 years, with hits like "Youngblood", "Teeth, and "She Looks So Perfect" the group has sold over 18 million albums, moved more than 6 million tickets worldwide, generated over 10 billion streams, and achieved 3 Billboard 200 #1 debuts, while winning multiple accolades. Known for their genre-defying collaborations and globe-spanning tours, the quartet - Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin - continue to reinvent what a modern band can be. With the 2025 release of their sixth album "EVERYONE’S A STAR" 5 Seconds of Summer ushered in their most ambitious era yet, led by the explosive singles “NOT OK,” “Boyband,” and “Telephone Busy”. Now it's time for their first show at Open'er - July 1, Orange Main Stage.

ADÉLA
Adéla tracks the changes in her life through music. Each side of her enigmatic personality makes an appearance on tape. You’ll get to know the curious little girl from Slovakia who balanced ingenuity as a prodigious ballerina with an insatiable hunger for pop stardom. You’ll meet the unapologetic woman who made her dream a reality 6,000 miles away from home in LA. Rooted in a signature sound that pumps and pirouettes, trunk-rattling beats, sweat-soaked keys, and lyrics as intimate as a 3AM text keep her music grounded in reality, while her larger-than-life personality brings the right amount of fantasy to the forefront. Following a decade as a professional ballerina and a stint on Dream Academy, she properly introduced herself with 2024’s “Homewrecked,” setting the stage for a breakthrough. She engendered the obsession of an ardent fan base by dropping “Machine Girl”, “Superscar,” and “SexOnTheBeat,” (with Christina Aguilera in the video). In the wake of 2025’s "The Provocateur" EP, she incited the applause of Vogue, The Fader, Harper’s Bazaar, Nylon, Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, i-D, and PAPER Magazine. In terms of attitude, she’s similar to that one friend who lives so freely that she inspires you to do the same. That’s the person you'll find on her full-length debut LP, 'PRIMA’, and the artist you'll lose yourself to at Open'er 2027. July 2, Orange Main Stage.

UNDERSCORES
Hailing from San Francisco, Filipino-American artist April Harper Grey started making music as underscores in middle school. For years, she released a steady stream of one-offs via SoundCloud, which endeared her to like minded artists and a burgeoning community of fans, but it wasn’t until 2017, with the release of EP "skin purifying treatment", that the project stepped out of its solitary origins and began to capture the attention of a much larger audience. In 2021, underscores released the debut album, "fishmonger", written and recorded in that same childhood bedroom amidst the pandemic. She gained even more recognition with "boneyard aka fearmonger", a collection of seven tracks that manages to sound like both the climax of and the morning after the craziest night of your life. In 2023 "Wallsocket", became one of the critics' favourites, and this year's "U" dove deep into the exploration of hyper-pop and dance music, making it to the Top 5 of albums of 2026.
“When people listen to underscores, I want their initial reaction to be, ‘This is ridiculous’. But the more they listen to it, they should hear the nuance in it, the heaviness in it, and I hope they connect with it on some kind of emotional level”, says April. We are totally in for the ride with underscores at Open'er - July 3, Alter Stage.
