Open'er is You! Thank you for these amazing 4 days in Gdynia!

“I made it! I’m here!” - JENNIE’s greeting to the Open’er 2026 crowd perfectly captured the magic of coming to Gdynia, Poland after months of anticipation. These festival days once again proved what makes Open’er so special.

This year’s Open’er Festival powered by Orange celebrated openness, diversity, and the joy of stepping outside our bubbles to discover new sounds and connect with others. Across its four days, the festival welcomed 230,000 people, whose energy and sense of community were felt across the entire site - and by the artists themselves.

“We’ve missed you. We are so thankful that you’re still here after such a long time,” said Oliver Sim of The xx during their Wednesday performance on Orange Main Stage. One of the trio’s first shows in eight years became a moving reminder of their journey. “Also, tonight feels special because one of the first proper tours we ever did was supporting Florence + The Machine. So it feels very nostalgic to be sharing the stage with them again.”

Florence Welch later echoed that connection from the stage. Exactly 10 years after her last Open’er appearance, Florence + The Machine returned with a performance that confirmed the timeless power of her music. Her voice, emotion, and stage presence made it one of the highlights of the festival.

The following days brought legends of rock and alternative music alongside icons of dance and electronic sound. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds created a mystical atmosphere, while The Cure delivered a stunning, more than two-hour-long set. Calvin Harris, Peggy Gou, and Martin Garrix brought pure euphoria, with Garrix also surprising Madonna fans with an unannounced mini-set at Dom Qultury during the official release party for her new album.

For pop fans, Open’er 2026 was a dream come true. Zara Larsson performed “Midnight Sun” to an epic sunset, while Saturday became one of Europe’s standout pop festival days thanks to acts like PinkPantheress, Teddy Swims, Jade, Addison Rae, and JENNIE - in one of only three European concerts she played this year. Her performance confirmed her status as a global pop-culture phenomenon.

Among the most memorable moments was David Byrne’s legendary Tent Stage show, combining songs from his solo career and Talking Heads in an almost theatrical form. Halsey also delivered a powerful, rock-charged performance that highlighted her artistic unpredictability.

A historic moment came with "Chopin at Open’er", presented with PKO Bank Polski as concert patron. Yehuda Prokopowicz, accompanied by Sinfonia Varsovia under Marta Kluczyńska, performed Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11 on the Orange Main Stage, filling the festival space with a moment of stillness and beauty.
