Måneskin and Amelie Lens join the line-up of artists, who will perform at Open'er Park powered by Orange, which begins in less than a month! This special, once-in-a-lifetime project is a response to the unusual reality of this year’s summer. After many months of isolation, we will meet at Open'er Park - where music, cinema, visual arts, a special park zone, and many more attractions meet in a unique place filled with culture, chill and emotions. For a few unforgettable weeks, between July 15 and August 22, Kolibki Park in Gdynia, a beautiful seaside city in Poland, will transform into a magical space, full of exceptional artists. Being close to the beach, the fans will also have the chance to relax at Open'er BeachHouse. |
Måneskin is a successful and critically - acclaimed young Italian band from Rome. They are made up of Damiano (vocals), Thomas (guitar), Ethan (drums), and Victoria (bass) - who is half Danish. It was her, who came up with the band's name, which means "moonlight" in Danish. The group members (who range in age from 20 to 22) have known each other since their early school days, but only started playing music together in 2015. Their sound is defined by an eclectic mix of musical influences: elements of rock, rap, hip hop, reggae, funk and pop, tied together by the soulful voice of frontman Damiano. Their first studio album, "Il Ballo della Vita" was entirely written by the band and went straight to #1 in the Italian charts, with over 170 million streams. Måneskin’s impact on the current musical scene was consolidated in a series of 80 - concert - tour with 66 sold - out shows in Italy and Europe. To work on their latest album „Teatro d’ira – Vol. I” the band moved to London. In May 2021 the band won the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam with "Zitti e Buoni", which resulted in an explosion of their international popularity. "Teatro d’ira – Vol. II" is awaited by the end of 2021. And on August 19th we'll meet at their first regular show in Poland. See You in Gdynia! |
Amelie Lens is a self-confessed control freak. Every step of her journey as a DJ so far has been the result of her own obsessive attention to detail and laser-focussed determination. The Antwerp native made her way into the global techno scene through a long-standing love affair with dance music, ignited by her first outing to Belgium's Dour Festival at just 15 years old. It wasn’t long before Amelie was sharing stages with the most respected artists in techno. "You can feel the passion when watching her – there are only a few DJs with that energy, that ‘it’ factor”, says Drumcode founder Adam Beyer. As a resident at Hasselt’s Labyrinth Club, she started curating her own nights under the name EXHALE that have become the stuff of legend. Amelie has steered the EXHALE parties further afield, with regular showcases at the likes of London’s Fabric and colossal stage hostings at Creamfields, OFFSonar, Dour. Lens has moulded her own imprint, LENSKE, in her image - driven, energetic and authentic. The label’s tight-knit family of artists help solidify Lens’ reputation as a curator and taste-maker as much as a master in the booth. In just a few years Lens has achieved what many artists would dream of achieving in a lifetime, and her rapid ascent is something many find hard to grasp. |
