Last year, Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet returned with a new album "Beautiful People", released for worldwide distribution in collaboration with the iconic !K7.
The album was recorded in December 2023 at the S4 Studio of Polish Radio, following a series of concerts. Fueled by the enthusiastic reception in numerous cities and hungry for new experiences and sounds, the Quintet entered the studio in top form—fired up and fully inspired.
"Beautiful People" is a spiritually charged album that explores the realm of modern spiritual jazz, while staying true to WMQ's identity and Slavic musical traditions. This fresh release delivers high-quality new energy, sound, and a revitalized band lineup.
