Kylie Minogue to headline Open’er!

Kylie Minogue, an absolute legend and icon of pop culture will headline Open'er Festival Powered by Orange 2019! Interpol, Lil Skies, Death Grips and more also join the line-up.

KYLIE MINOGUE

Her career spans 3 decades filled with hits that became the standard of pop music. From her debut to last year's „Golden” album, Kylie has always been a synonym of class and authenticity. Whether the audience was happily singing the 80s hit "I Should Be So Lucky", shedding tears to "Where the Wild Roses Grow", a memorable duo with Nick Cave in the 90s, or raged on the dance floor to "Love at First Sight" and „Can’t Get You Out of My Head", her fans have always been sure that she is everything but fake. Together with her, they also experienced personal dramas and celebrated life when they emerged victorious. Another victory will also be this year's unique concert at Glastonbury. Several years ago, Kylie was set to perform at the legendary festival, but she was forced to cancel her performance after being diagnosed with cancer. This year, she celebrates her entire career by releasing a unique, two-part "Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection" album. Her creativity has shaped several generations. We cannot wait to see her live at Open’er Festival this year!

INTERPOL

Since 2002 and the release of "Turn On the Bright Lights", Interpol remains one of the most important rock groups in the world. Thanks to such songs as "Evil", "The Heinrich Maneuver" or "All the Rage Back Home" they built the status of a rock icon. The most avid fans thin of them as one of the key bands of the New York rock revival at the beginning of 2000s. However, their sixth album "Marauder" (2018) showed that they still have a lot to say. The success of "If You Really Love Nothing" has shown that the work of Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler and Sam Fogarino still resonates with many fans. And if that was not enough, just a few months after the release of the album, the musicians decided to release "Fine Mess" EP with songs that did not make it onto ”Marauder”. The group will perform at Open'er Festival on July 3.

LIL SKIES

20-year-old Kimetrius Foose (better known as Lil Skies) recorded his first tracks as a 14-year-old. In the following years, he released a series of mixtapes, and one of them, "Life of a Dark Horse" (2018), received more than one billion streams, thanks to songs like "Red Roses", "Nowadays" and "Lust". Thanks to the release, the rapper went on a tour around the U.S. In March, Lil Skies finally released his first studio album "Shelby", which debuted at #5 on Billboard 200.

DEATH GRIPS

This experimental project from California is certainly unpredictable. Death Grips have been on the music scene for nearly a decade. During this time, they released 6 albums, mixing various music genres - hip-hop, electronica, industrial, punk-rock and noise sounds. The production of Zach Hill and Andy Morin combined with uncompromising, aggressive rap from MC Ride creates a phenomenon that you cannot be indifferent to. With each release they gain more and more recognition from alternative fans. Their latest album "Year of the Snitch" was released last year to great reviews.
