The Canadian formation get attention as early as April 2011, when they posted instrumental jazz-hip-hop interpretations of songs by the "Odd Future" collective on the web. Their records was quickly picked up by Tyler, The Creator, which soon resulted in a live recording of the song "Seven" from the rapper's debut mixtape. In 2011 we received the first album of the band "BBNG", and a few months later they presented its "BBNG2". As in the case of the debut, on the second album, the original compositions of BadBadNotGood were mixed with covers of artists from whom they drew inspiration (including Kanye West, Nas, James Blake, Flying Lotus, Feist or Joy Division). When "III" was released in 2014, their first album filled only with original material, they already had a residency at Coachella and a series of live releases behind them. Subsequent performances in Canada, Europe and the USA strengthened their position as a great concert band. In 2015, BadBadNotGood joined forces with Ghostface Killah, the legend of Wu-Tang Clanu, recording a joint album "Sour Soul", and the following year we get a very well-received album "IV", which featured Charlotte Day-Wilson, Kaytranada and Sam Herring from Future Islands. The band will play on June 30 at Alter Stage.
