Can I take an umbrella to the festival?
Yes, but only small, telescopic umbrellas are allowed. Big ones, with metal or wooden pointy endings are forbidden.
Will there be viewing platforms for the disabled?
Just as in previous years, special viewing platforms for the disabled will be located next to the three main stages. Please ask stewards in stage areas for exact location of the platforms.
Are under 18s allowed to the event?
Everyone aged above 4 can enter, but only under supervision of an adult (Festival Regulations, point 11 a). People between 4 and 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Guardians must fill out a suitable form.
Do I have to bring an ID?
Definitely! Especially if you have an electronic ticket and fail to present a valid ID, you run the risk of non-admission.
What ID documents do you accept?
If you don’t have a national ID, you can take any other valid photo ID, e.g. passport or student card.
Should I come to the festival well in advance?
Please do! As over 50,000 people get to the venue, planning the last minute trip might make you miss the concert from your favourite artist.
Is there a taxi stand at the festival?
No, but taxis are allowed to the festival area. They can come to the following places:
from Zielona to Płk Dąbka/Zielona crossing; by main car entrance from Wiejska (Kosakowo)
Should I come by car in case of rain?
In case of heavy rainfall, please leave your car at parking lots in the city centre and come to the festival with shuttle buses.
Can I exchange e-tickets at Gdynia Główna (Main Railway Station) in Gdynia?
You can’t exchange e-tickets at Dworzec Główny (Main Railway Station) in Gdynia. Come to the festival with the e-Ticket printed out and exchange it in the festival area.
Can I exchange my ticket with camping at Gdynia Główna (Main Railway Station) in Gdynia?
No. Please exchange these tickets at the festival site - Gdynia-Kosakowo airfield.
Should I book a place at the parking lot?
You don’t need to, there's enough room for all festival goers.
Should every person in the camping area have a camping area ticket, or just the owner of the tent?
Everyone in the camping area must be in possession of a camping area ticket.
What is Alter kArt?
It's a contactless payment card, a cashless alternative to festival coupons. You can also use it to make payments or withdraw cash outside the festival. Your ALTER kART will be valid at all Alter Art festivals this year.
Is there a lost property station at the festival?
Yes, there are two lost property stations at the festival entrances, one from Zielona and the other from Wiejska (Kosakowo).
Can I bring my own food and drink to the festival?
No food or drinks are allowed to the festival area. You can buy meals and groceries in the catering areas and stalls at the festival.
Will the festival shuttle buses take us back after the festival day is over?
Yes, of course. Free festival shuttle buses also leave every few minutes towards Dworzec Główny (Main Railway Station) in Gdynia from the stop on Zielona street.

You can exchange your tickets from 9:00 at Main Railway Station in Gdynia (n/a to VIP tickets, e-tickets and tickets with camping area). All tickets can be exchanged in the point near camping area (open 24 hours).
